First, if it was based on the sterling character and abilities of the contestants, this would get five stars. I was saddened by the fact that the rodeo didn't have a lone horse, to honor those we loved and lost. Seems odd that since October is HIV/AIDS awareness month, no mention was made, not even during the prayer. They did mention breast cancer awarness month, which has, as important as it is, eclipsed HIV/AIDS to the point that some people don't even know what a red ribbon is.
I thought that the host hotel should have hosted a dance, it would have been nice to have avoided downtown on Saturday night. There were only 2 shuttles from the hotel to the rodeo, and a lot of misinformation about when they actually left.
Other than that.. it was a good time.. and people were friendly and great,,, as gay cowboys usually are. From a spectators view, it seemed to be well organized, and looks like a lot of work went into pulling it off.

I went to the rodeo on Saturday. It was a little different than a regular Rodeo, but I enjoy my self and I meet two guys from the FGRA. The IGRA was great Rodeo. I'm looking forward to the next Rodeo.

Coming from the UK I didn’t know what to expect; and as I travelled alone it was great to have so many guys come over and say hi. The rodeo was a great example of how great a community the IGRA is. It felt like a huge family and everyone was great.
I just want to say a big thanks to the guys who put the whole thing together and made it an entertaining weekend. A big congratulations to all those who took part. And last, but by no means least, a huge thanks to everyone who made me feel real welcome and right at home.
I look forward to seeing you all again next year!

I am not sure if there is a shuttle but there usually is. You might call the Host Hotel, they will know for sure. Hope to meet ya while your here. Take care and see ya soon.

The backup host hotel for Finals rodeo is the LaQuinta on Park Avenue. When calling for reservations, mention you are with IGRA or CGRA and you will get the room rate. See you at Finals!

About any hotel in the Stapleton area, about 1 mile from the grounds, should have rooms. The Renissance, Double Tree, Red Lion, etc.

There are tons of hotels in the downtown area, and the National Western is only about 3 miles from downtown. Go to the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau website at www.denver.org . Any hotel downtown is a good choice.
