This was an awsome Rodeo. The people were great. I would like to thank organizers and volunteers who gave it all to make this a great rodeo.
The only two things I had concerns about 1) Dance floor too small 2)drinks at the dances were too high.

Great Rodeo despite the cancelation of events on Saturday due to a Hurrican. Great dances at the host hotel!

even with Saturday being a wash out the people of ASGRA did an excellent job dealing with the circumstances. Offering a Tea Dance on Saturday afternoon to give people something to do was a great thing. Everyone enjoyed the dances, and the entertainment to the max. ASGRA really pulled together as much as they could and were very hospitiable. The host hotel was a bit out of the way, and the announcers stand was downright scary, but all in all i was glad i attended. I would love to go again (hopefully without a hurricane on the loose ;-)...)

I thought the event was wonderful given the circumstances of Tropical Storm Hanna raining out Saturday's events. Sunday was a blast, the host hotel staff were great, but kudos to the organizers and volunteers on making the best of an unfortunate situation!
Definitely be back next year! YEEHAW!

Not sure if everyone knows, but the DC Cowboys have been appearing on the NBC show "America's Got Talent". The next airing is next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Im my opinion , DC's rodeo can't compete with the likes of OKC, Denver & Ft. Worth. I suppose it depends on what type of 'clientele' you enjoy, but I saw a lot of local DC guys who were obviously amazed that gay guys can be cowboys. Finger pointing, giggling, etc. Showing up in their club wear expecting a disco. That brings down the feel to me. The actual rodeo was above average, again not as whole as the others mentioned above. One downfall is that the rodeo ground is somewhat far out of the way in MD.

I really liked the idea to have kids games involved, it really gets the whole family interacting and understand such a fun sport. I would like to see more food vendors there personnally. It was a very nice day for it and really had a good time. Thanks for those who took part in making it happen.
